Field Mill
The Field Mill (German: Feldmühle) or also known as rotary voltmeter is a test equipment to measure electrostatic fields.
Applications
In combination with the BPT 3010 our Field Mill allows the measurement of electro smog:
- DC electric fields
- AC electric fields
Electrostatic fields are everywhere in our daily life. Such fields appear even in textiles, which are produced with a certain percentage of plastic fiber. The electric field intensity have a direct impact on the static charge.
The field intensity is measured and shown in volts per meter (=V/m).
